ArtGr698 – Deconstructing the map

Title: Deconstructing the map (Memory map)
Media: Watercolor, acrylic color, photoshop, illustrator
Date: Spring 2014
Class: ArtGr 698 (Graphic design issues: mapmaking)
Instructor:  Paul Bruski

Design as a means of communication is capable of conveying information in as many meanings as the designer is capable of transmitting. This is my memory of my family’s trip to the places my father wanted to go after he passed away. The trip was my family members’ healing time, remembering and revisiting the places where my father worked when he was young.
